Solid upgrade path
Works exactly as described for the 2024 V6 model. Instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners, but the hardware itself is flawless.

Great build quality, tight fit
The aluminum feels very premium and sturdy. It was a bit tight to install initially, but once seated, it holds the accelerometer perfectly without any wobble.

Easy USB connection
Love that it uses a standard USB connection for the sensor data. Made the wiring cleanup under the toolhead much simpler than my previous setup.

Perfect upgrade for input shaping
Installing this bracket with the ADXL345 made configuring input shaping in Klipper incredibly easy. The print quality improvement on my FLY V6 is noticeable immediately.
Q: Is this compatible with older versions of the FLY printer?
A: This bracket is specifically designed for the 2024 FLY 3D Printer V6 series. It may not fit older models without modification.
Q: Does this come with the necessary cables for the USB connection?
A: Yes, the package includes a short USB cable required to connect the ADXL345 module to your controller board.
Q: Can I use this with a different accelerometer brand?
A: This bracket is pre-machined specifically for the ADXL345 module included in the kit. Using a different sensor model may require custom adaptation.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this bracket can withstand?
A: The aluminum alloy bracket can withstand temperatures well beyond typical nozzle operating ranges, safely handling up to 300°C ambient heat near the hotend.
Q: Do I need to flash new firmware to use the accelerometer?
A: You need to have Klipper firmware installed. You will need to update your printer.cfg file to enable the ADXL345 section, but no full re-flashing is usually required if Klipper is already present.
