Essential accessory for serious printing
If you plan on doing more than just basic PLA, get this nozzle. It handles wood-fill and glow-in-the-dark filaments without wearing down. The dual-metal construction feels very robust.

Good value for money
Works as advertised. Installation was straightforward with the included tool. I deducted one star only because the packaging was slightly damaged upon arrival, though the product itself was fine.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA, and it has held up perfectly. The nickel plating makes installation smooth, and there is no clogging after 50 hours of continuous printing.

Great quality but requires higher temps
The build quality is excellent and fits my Kobra X precisely. Just note that you might need to increase your printing temperature by about 5-10 degrees compared to a brass nozzle due to the material difference.

Consistent flow and precision
Layer adhesion has improved since installing this assembly. The tolerance is tight, preventing leaks at the hotend junction. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading their Kobra X setup.

No more frequent replacements
I used to change brass nozzles every few weeks when printing with glitter filament. This hardened steel nozzle has lasted months without any degradation in print quality. Worth every penny.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for this nozzle?
A: The nozzle is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Exceeding this temperature may compromise the structural integrity of the assembly or damage the heating element.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original Anycubic Kobra (non-X) model?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the Kobra X series. While the thread size is standard M6, the physical dimensions of the heater block interface may differ. We recommend using the specific nozzle for your printer model to ensure proper thermal transfer.
Q: Can I use this nozzle for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While this is a hardened steel nozzle suitable for abrasive composites like carbon fiber or wood fill, it is not rated for printing pure metal filaments that require sintering ovens. Please check your filament manufacturer's temperature and hardware requirements.
Q: Does the package include a spare silicone sock?
A: No, this package contains only the nozzle assembly and the installation wrench. Silicone socks are sold separately or may be retained from your original printer setup if they fit the new assembly geometry.
Q: How do I know if I need to tighten the nozzle further after heating?
A: It is best practice to tighten the nozzle while the hotend is heated to printing temperature (around 200°C). This ensures the metal expands and seals correctly, preventing molten plastic from leaking out of the threads.
