Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The stock brass nozzle wore out in two prints, but this one has been going strong for months with zero degradation in quality.

Great upgrade, slightly tricky install
The performance is excellent and temperature stability is spot on. Installation took me about 20 minutes as the wiring harness was a bit stiff, but once installed, it works flawlessly on my P1P.

Solid build quality
Feels very robust compared to the original. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty, but I had my own anyway.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing PETG, ABS, or anything with glass fiber, get this immediately. The heat creep issues I had with the standard unit are completely gone. Highly recommended.

No more clogs

Consistent flow rate
Noticed an immediate improvement in layer adhesion and consistency. The upgraded heater block maintains temperature much better during high-speed prints on the X1 Carbon.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different hotend architecture.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after installation?
A: Yes, we highly recommend running the automatic flow rate calibration in the printer settings after replacing the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: Can this handle printing at 300 degrees continuously?
A: Yes, the components are rated for up to 300°C. However, please ensure your cooling fans are functioning correctly to prevent heat creep when printing at maximum temperatures.
