Must-have for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this. The hardened steel nozzle prevents the ovalization that happens with brass nozzles when printing abrasive composites. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel assembly specifically to print carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. No clogging issues so far after 200 grams of printing. The installation was straightforward on my X1-Carbon.

Fast shipping and easy install
Arrived two days earlier than expected. The assembly fits perfectly into the P1P tool head. I appreciate that it comes fully assembled with the thermistor and heater already tested.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The heat creep resistance seems better than the original unit. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions could be more detailed, but there are plenty of videos online.

Great upgrade, slight learning curve
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I had to tweak my temperature settings slightly compared to the stock brass nozzle, but once dialed in, the prints are perfect. Highly recommended for durability.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This standard package includes a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. We do offer a separate listing for 0.6mm and 0.8mm variants if you need higher flow rates.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my flow rate after installing?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to run the flow rate calibration and pressure advance tuning in the printer settings after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: Can I use this with high-temperature polycarbonate?
A: Yes, the assembly is rated up to 300°C, making it suitable for Polycarbonate (PC) provided your printer enclosure maintains the necessary ambient temperature.
