Great quality but instructions could be better
The ceramic coating looks very durable and the copper plating on the nozzle is a nice touch. Deducting one star because the installation guide was a bit vague regarding wire routing.

Works well but tricky to install
The part itself seems high quality and prints are coming out smooth. However, as a beginner, I found swapping the hotend quite challenging and nearly stripped a screw.

Good value for money
For the price, this is a steal compared to buying individual components. My prints have fewer artifacts now. Just make sure you let the thermal paste cure properly.

Significant improvement over stock hotend
The bimetallic throat makes a huge difference in heat creep prevention. I can now print PLA at higher speeds without clogs. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Solid upgrade for Kobra 2 Pro
Exactly what I needed to push my printer harder. The thermal conductivity is excellent, and pre-heating times seem slightly faster. Highly recommended for serious users.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I've been running some carbon-fiber filled PLA and this hotend handles it beautifully. The temperature stability is much better than the original unit.
Q: What is the advantage of the ceramic coating on the heater block?
A: The ceramic coating provides better heat retention and insulation, leading to more stable temperatures during printing and reduced energy consumption compared to bare aluminum blocks.
Q: Do I need to re-level the bed after installing this?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to perform a full bed leveling and Z-offset calibration after replacing the hotend to ensure the first layer adhesion is perfect.
Q: Can this handle TPU filament without jamming?
A: Yes, the bimetallic throat tube significantly reduces the risk of heat creep, which is the primary cause of jams when printing flexible materials like TPU.
