Great value alternative
Works just as well as the official branded nozzles but at a better price point. The 0.8mm size is fantastic for rapid prototyping where detail isn't the primary concern.

Perfect for carbon fiber prints

Good quality but tight fit
The hardened steel quality seems top notch. It was a bit difficult to screw in initially compared to the brass original, but once seated, it works flawlessly. Great for abrasive materials.

No more clogs!
Switched from brass to this hardened steel nozzle and my clogging issues with recycled PETG are completely gone. Installation was straightforward following the manual.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, the IdeaFormer IR3 V2 is specifically designed for the P1 and X1 series printers. The A1 series uses a different hotend assembly.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with standard PLA at low temperatures?
A: Yes, absolutely. While it is designed for high-temperature and abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA. You may need to adjust your flow rate slightly due to the material difference.
Q: How often should I replace a hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. With normal use, they can last for years. Replace only if you notice persistent clogging or physical damage to the tip.
Q: Does the package include a wrench for installation?
A: The package includes the nozzle and a cleaning needle. We recommend using the socket wrench provided with your Bambu Lab printer for safe installation and removal.
