Essential safety upgrade

Great for high-temp materials
Printing with Polycarbonate requires high temps, and this sleeve helps maintain that heat around the nozzle while protecting surrounding components. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Good quality, slightly tight
The material feels durable and heat resistant. It was a bit tight to install on my P1P at first, but once seated, it stays in place well. Good value for the price.

Perfect fit for my X1 Carbon
This silicone sleeve fits perfectly on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon hotend. It provides excellent insulation and keeps the chamber temperature more stable during ABS prints. Highly recommended!

Decent but attracts dust
It does its job protecting the hotend, but the silicone material seems to attract dust and lint easily. I have to clean it off every few prints. Otherwise, it's fine.
Q: Does this interfere with the part cooling fan?
A: No, the sleeve is precisely molded to fit around the heater block without obstructing the airflow from the part cooling fan.
Q: Do I need to remove the stock fan shroud to install this?
A: No installation tools or removal of existing parts are required. You simply slide the sleeve over the heated block until it snaps into place.
Q: Can I use this with PETG filament?
A: Absolutely. While it is especially useful for high-temperature filaments like ABS or PC, it is perfectly safe and effective for use with PETG, PLA, and other standard materials.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon version?
A: Yes, this silicone sleeve is designed to be compatible with the entire X1 series, including both the X1 and X1 Carbon models.
