Perfect for high-temp printing
This copper block holds heat much better than the stock aluminum one. I successfully printed PEEK without any temperature fluctuations. The PT100 sensor is very accurate.

Works as advertised
Does exactly what it says. Just make sure your hotend fan is adequate because copper retains a lot of heat and can cause heat creep if not cooled properly.

Essential upgrade for CR-10
Installed this on my CR-10 S1. The thermal stability is noticeable immediately. No more clogs when printing polycarbonate. Highly recommended for advanced users.

Good quality but requires tuning
The build quality is excellent. However, you need to recalibrate your PID settings after installation because copper conducts heat differently than aluminum. Once tuned, it works great.

Solid construction
Very heavy and solid feeling. The threads are clean and the PT100 fits snugly. It took my print temperatures to a new level of consistency.

Great value for money
Cheaper than buying a whole new hotend assembly. The pure copper material makes a huge difference in layer adhesion for engineering filaments.
Q: Does this come with a heater cartridge?
A: No, this kit includes the heating block and the PT100 sensor only. You will need to reuse your existing heater cartridge or purchase one separately.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for this block?
A: While the copper itself can withstand higher temps, we recommend operating up to 450°C. Ensure your silicone sock and other surrounding components are rated for these temperatures.
Q: Do I need a specific motherboard to use the PT100 sensor?
A: Most modern boards support PT100, but you may need to update your firmware configuration to recognize the PT100 instead of the standard thermistor. Please check your board's documentation.
Q: How do I prevent heat creep with this copper block?
A: Because copper conducts heat efficiently, ensure your part cooling fan is directed properly at the heat sink fins. You may also need to increase the fan speed slightly compared to an aluminum block setup.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard Ender-3 non-V2?
A: Yes, it is compatible with most Ender-3 variants that use the standard MK8 style hotend, including the original Ender-3, Ender-3 Pro, and Ender-3 V2.
