No more worn out nozzles
I was going through a brass nozzle every few weeks with glow-in-the-dark filament. This hardened steel one has lasted months with zero signs of wear. Highly recommended.

Essential upgrade for E3D V6
If you own an E3D V6 and plan to print anything abrasive, buy this immediately. It fits perfectly and maintains temperature stability even at higher settings.

Bulk bought for our lab
We purchased several of these for our university makerspace. They have held up remarkably well under heavy use by students printing various composite materials.

Great durability, slightly harder to tune
The nozzle is very durable and handles abrasive filaments well. It took a bit more trial and error to get the flow rate perfect compared to my old brass nozzle, but once dialed in, prints are excellent.

Perfect for Carbon Fiber Prints
I switched from brass to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. The difference is night and day. No clogging and the wear resistance is exactly what I needed.

Solid build quality
The machining looks precise and the threads engage smoothly. Print quality is sharp. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a little longer than expected.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The hardened steel material can withstand temperatures up to 450°C safely. Always ensure your heater block and thermistor are also rated for high-temperature operations.
Q: How does this perform with wood-fill filament?
A: It performs excellently with wood-fill filaments. The abrasive nature of the wood particles will quickly wear down brass nozzles, but this hardened steel version resists that wear effectively.
Q: Does this come with a wrench or installation tool?
A: No, the package includes only the nozzle itself. You will need your own M6 nozzle wrench or socket to install it properly.
Q: Can I use this for standard PLA without issues?
A: Yes, you can absolutely use standard PLA. However, please note that hardened steel has lower thermal conductivity than brass, so you may need to increase your printing temperature by 5-10 degrees Celsius.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the Creality CR-10 if I swap the hotend?
A: This nozzle is specifically designed for the E3D V6 hotend system. If your CR-10 has been upgraded with an E3D V6 hotend, then yes, it will fit. It is not directly compatible with the stock Creality hotend.
