Great replacement parts
Bought this pack to keep spares on hand. The fit is identical to the original E3D sleeves. No issues with melting or degrading after weeks of continuous printing.

Stable temps achieved
Noticed less fluctuation in nozzle temperature during ABS prints. The insulation really helps maintain consistent heat. Highly recommend for anyone running high-temp filaments.

Perfect fit for my V2 block
These sleeves slid on easily and provide excellent insulation. My print temperatures are much more stable now, and I feel safer knowing the hot end is covered.

Decent but tight fit
The material quality is good, but it was quite difficult to slide onto the heating block without stretching it too much. Once on, it works fine, just be careful during installation.

Essential safety upgrade
If you have kids or pets near your printer, these are a must-have. They prevent accidental burns effectively. The silicone feels thick and durable.

Good value for a 3-pack
Quality seems solid. I replaced my old worn-out sleeve with one of these. It fits snugly. Only giving 4 stars because the red color fades slightly after prolonged high-temp use, but functionally it's great.
Q: Is the silicone food safe if I print with PLA?
A: While the silicone itself is high-grade, the sleeve is an external insulation component and does not come into contact with the filament or printed object. Food safety depends on the filament used and the print surface, not the insulation sleeve.
Q: Will this fit the E3D V6 heating block as well?
A: This specific model is designed for the V2 heating block. While dimensions are similar, we recommend checking the specific V6 compatible listing to ensure a perfect fit.
Q: Can these withstand PLA and PETG printing temperatures?
A: Yes, absolutely. These sleeves are rated up to 300°C, which covers the typical range for PLA, PETG, ABS, and even higher temperature materials like Nylon.
Q: Do I need to remove the thermistor or heater cartridge to install these?
A: No removal is necessary. The sleeves are designed to slide over the assembled heating block without disassembling your hotend components.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sleeve?
A: We recommend inspecting the sleeve regularly for signs of cracking, tearing, or excessive wear. Replacement frequency depends on usage, but many users replace them every 6-12 months as preventative maintenance.
