Durable and reliable
Been running this for three months straight on a farm printer. Zero degradation, no stripping of threads, and consistent extrusion. Worth every penny for the reliability alone.

Solved my heat creep issues
I was experiencing constant heat creep with my all-metal setup using the old part. This 3DSWAY bimetallic break completely eliminated the problem. Highly recommend for anyone pushing their printer to the limit.

Good product, installation needs care
Works great once installed. Just be very careful not to cross-thread it since it's metal-on-metal. Took me two tries to get it right, but now my prints are flawless.

Best value bimetallic break
Compared to other brands costing twice as much, this performs identically. The copper section conducts heat well while the titanium keeps the cold end cool. Excellent engineering.

Great quality but tight fit
The build quality is excellent, very solid titanium feel. It was a bit tight going into my E3D V6 heater block at first, but after careful threading, it seated perfectly. Printing PETG has never been smoother.

Perfect upgrade for high-temp filaments
Switched from the standard brass heat break to this bimetallic one and the difference is night and day. No more clogging when printing ABS or Polycarbonate. The thermal barrier works exactly as intended.
Q: Will this work with a 1.75mm filament drive gear setup?
A: Yes, the internal bore is sized standard for 1.75mm filament. As long as your PTFE tube (if used above the break) or direct drive setup is for 1.75mm, this component will work correctly.
Q: Can I use this with PLA filament or is it only for high-temperature materials?
A: You can absolutely use this with PLA. While it is optimized for high-temperature filaments like ABS and Nylon, it works perfectly fine with PLA, though you may need to adjust your cooling fan settings slightly.
Q: Does this come with thermal paste or do I need to buy that separately?
A: This package contains only the bimetallic heat break. We recommend applying a small amount of high-temperature thermal paste to the threads during installation for optimal heat transfer and easier future removal.
Q: What is the recommended torque for installing this heat break?
A: We recommend hand-tightening until snug and then giving it a gentle quarter turn with a wrench. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the threads in the heater block.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 clone hotends or only genuine ones?
A: This heat break is designed to standard E3D V6 specifications, so it fits both genuine E3D hotends and most high-quality clones that adhere to the original dimensions.
