Smooth upgrades
Upgraded my old machine with this kit. The print quality improved immediately due to more stable temperatures. The ceramic block looks sleek too.

Perfect upgrade for my Voron
This ceramic hotend fits perfectly into my VORON 2.4 build. The thermal stability is noticeably better than my previous aluminum block, especially when printing ABS at high speeds.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. The discrete design allows for easy nozzle changes. Only giving 4 stars because the included thermal paste was barely enough, so I had to use my own.

Great quality, tight tolerance
The machining quality is excellent. It was a bit tight fitting the thermistor initially, but once installed, it holds temperature very consistently. Highly recommended for discrete volcano setups.

Excellent heat retention
Switched to this from a standard brass block. The ceramic material retains heat much better, reducing stringing on my PLA and PETG prints. Installation on the Rusa extruder was straightforward.
Q: Can I use this with a 12V power supply?
A: This specific unit comes with a 24V 40W heater cartridge. While it will heat up on 12V, it will not reach optimal temperatures efficiently. We recommend using a 24V power rail for the hotend.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for the ceramic block?
A: The ceramic composite block is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Please ensure your firmware temperature limits are set accordingly to prevent damage.
Q: Does this come with a nozzle installed?
A: No, this package includes the hotend assembly, heater cartridge, and thermistor, but the nozzle is sold separately to allow you to choose your preferred size and material.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard V6 heatsink?
A: Yes, this CHC-V6 Discrete Volcano hotend is designed to be compatible with standard V6 style heatsinks and mounting brackets used in VORON 2.4 printers.
Q: How do I install the thermistor properly?
A: Insert the thermistor into the designated hole until it bottoms out, then secure it with the provided grub screw. Apply a small amount of thermal paste to ensure accurate temperature reading.
