Works well but packaging was loose
The pins themselves are excellent and cleaned my melt head effectively. However, the packaging was a bit flimsy and one pin fell out during shipping. Product is good though.

Good quality, slightly stiff
The steel feels very durable and high quality. It was a bit stiff to use at first, but once I heated the nozzle, it worked perfectly to clear out old filament residue.

Perfect fit for 0.4mm nozzles
Fits snugly into standard 0.4mm nozzles. The handle makes it easy to grip even when wearing gloves. Great value for the price considering you get five in a pack.

Essential tool for maintenance

This tool has replaced my need to do messy cold pulls for minor clogs. Just heat up, insert the pin, and push through. Simple and effective solution.
Q: How many times can I reuse a single pin?
A: These stainless steel pins are highly durable and can be reused hundreds of times. Replace the pin only if you notice visible bending, corrosion, or if it no longer slides smoothly through the nozzle.
Q: Will this work with a 0.2mm micro nozzle?
A: These pins are designed primarily for 0.4mm and larger nozzles. Using them on a 0.2mm nozzle may be too tight and could potentially damage the nozzle interior. We recommend checking your specific nozzle tolerance before use.
Q: Is the handle heat resistant?
A: Yes, the handle is made from a heat-resistant material designed to stay cool enough to hold while the tip is inserted into a hot end. However, always exercise caution and avoid prolonged contact with the heating element.
Q: Can I use this while the nozzle is cold?
A: It is strongly recommended to heat the nozzle to your typical printing temperature before inserting the pin. Attempting to clear a cold nozzle can bend the pin or damage the heater block.
