Solid performance
Does exactly what it says. The hardened steel nozzle is essential for my workflow involving glass-filled PETG. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep, but the durability justifies the cost long-term.

Worth every penny

Essential for our lab

Seamless installation

Great upgrade but runs slightly hotter
The print quality is excellent and the build quality feels very solid. I noticed the fan noise is marginally louder than the stock head, but the ability to print at higher temperatures makes up for it. Highly recommended for advanced users.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel upgrade specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon. The previous brass nozzle wore out too quickly. This 2.0 version installs in minutes and handles the abrasive material without any clogging issues so far.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes a new high-temperature silicone sock pre-installed on the heater block.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-Carbon model?
A: Yes, this Upgrade 2.0 Print Head is fully compatible with the standard Bambu Lab X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S models.
Q: Can I still use standard PLA filaments with this hardened nozzle?
A: Absolutely. While designed for abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other non-abrasive filaments. You may need to adjust flow rate slightly due to material differences.
Q: Do I need to perform a full calibration after installing?
A: It is highly recommended to run the automatic flow calibration and vibration compensation (PA tuning) after installation to ensure optimal print quality with the new hardware.
