Excellent thermal stability
I switched from a standard aluminum block to this ceramic one. The temperature fluctuations are almost non-existent now, resulting in much smoother surface finishes.

Easy drop-in replacement

Perfect upgrade for my Voron

Best value for high-temp printing
Running Polycarbonate at 280°C without any issues. The volcano nozzle allows for great flow rates. Highly recommend for anyone pushing their printer limits.

Great quality, tricky installation
The components feel very premium and the ceramic block is lightweight. Installation took a bit longer than expected due to tight tolerances, but it works flawlessly now.

Solid performance
Does exactly what it says. The ceramic material heats up slightly slower than aluminum but holds the temperature much better during rapid movements.
Q: Can I use this with PLA filament?
A: Absolutely. While this hotend is optimized for high-temperature engineering filaments, it works perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and ABS as well.
Q: What is the thread size for the nozzles?
A: This kit uses the standard M6 volcano nozzle thread pattern, making it compatible with most aftermarket high-flow nozzles available on the market.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware when installing this?
A: Generally, no firmware changes are required as it is a hardware swap. However, you may want to tune your PID settings for the new ceramic block to optimize heating performance.
Q: Does the kit include the silicone sock?
A: The kit includes the ceramic heater block and metal components. We recommend purchasing a high-temperature silicone sock separately to ensure safety and insulation.
