Exceeded expectations

Good value kit
Comes with everything needed to swap out the old hotend. Instructions could be more detailed, but if you have experience with 3D printers, it's a quick job.

Perfect upgrade for my Voron 2.4
Installation was straightforward and the ceramic block holds temperature incredibly well. I've noticed significantly better layer adhesion when printing ABS at higher speeds.

Consistent heating performance
I use this for printing polycarbonate and the thermal stability is outstanding. The ceramic material seems to distribute heat more evenly than aluminum blocks I've used before.

Great flow rate, minor tuning needed
The volcano nozzle provides excellent flow for bulk prints. Had to tweak my retraction settings slightly compared to my standard V6, but results are now flawless.

Solid build quality
The machining on the heater block is precise. Fits perfectly into my custom Prusa extruder setup without any modification. Highly recommended for high-temp materials.

A: Yes, this kit is designed to fit the standard Prusa i3 MK3/S/+ extruder carriage directly. However, ensure your firmware supports the higher temperatures if you plan to print engineering materials.
Q: What is the difference between this ceramic block and a standard aluminum one?
A: The ceramic composite offers better thermal insulation and stability at very high temperatures, reducing heat creep and allowing for more consistent extrusion with high-temperature filaments like PEEK or Polycarbonate.
Q: Does the kit include a specific nozzle size or can I choose?
A: The kit typically includes a standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle suitable for most applications. It uses standard M6 volcano threads, so you can easily swap it for other sizes (0.2mm to 1.0mm) as needed.
Q: How often do I need to replace the ceramic heater block?
A: Unlike brass nozzles, the ceramic heater block is extremely durable and does not wear out under normal usage. You generally only need to replace it if it suffers physical damage or cracking from impact.
