Solid performance
Been using this for about two months now. It handles high-temperature ABS well. I deducted one star only because the included tool felt a bit flimsy, but the nozzle itself is great.

Great value
Works exactly as described with my Bambu X1. The price is very reasonable compared to OEM options, and the print quality remains consistent across different material types.

Essential upgrade
If you plan on doing more than just basic PLA, this is a must-have upgrade. The V2.0 design seems to flow better than the stock brass nozzle I replaced. No clogs so far.

No more worn nozzles
I was going through brass nozzles every few weeks due to abrasive filaments. This hardened steel version has lasted months with zero degradation in print quality. Worth every penny.

Good quality, slightly tricky install
The nozzle itself is excellent quality and prints very smoothly. Installation on my P1P was a bit tight and required careful heating to avoid stripping threads, but once installed, it works flawlessly.

Perfect for carbon fiber prints
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing with carbon fiber reinforced PLA. It has held up perfectly after several spools without any signs of wear or widening of the orifice. Highly recommended for abrasive filaments.
Q: How often should I replace this hardened steel nozzle?
A: Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, a hardened steel nozzle can last 5 to 10 times longer than a brass nozzle. Replace it only if you notice persistent under-extrusion or visible damage to the tip.
Q: What is the difference between V1.0 and V2.0?
A: The V2.0 features an optimized internal geometry for smoother filament flow and reduced pressure buildup, resulting in better layer adhesion and fewer clogs compared to the earlier version.
Q: Does this come with a new thermal paste or gasket?
A: The package includes the nozzle and an installation tool. We recommend reusing your existing silicone sock and checking your hotend gasket condition before reassembly, but new gaskets are not included.
Q: Can I use this for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While this nozzle is hardened steel, we do not recommend printing pure metal filaments as they may still cause excessive wear or clogging. It is best suited for plastic composites containing carbon or glass fiber.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this V2.0 hardened steel nozzle is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different hotend assembly.
