Works but requires care
They do clean the nozzle effectively, but you have to be very gentle. If you force it, you might widen the nozzle hole slightly. Good for soft clogs, maybe not for hardened carbonized filament.

Saved my print head!

Good quality, very thin
The steel feels durable and the pins are incredibly fine. I knocked off one star because the smallest pin bent slightly when I applied too much pressure, but that was user error. Works great for routine maintenance.

Better than needles
I used to use sewing needles which would sometimes break or scratch the nozzle. These stainless steel pins are much more rigid and safe to use. The storage tube is a nice touch to keep them organized.
Q: What is the best temperature to clean the nozzle with these pins?
A: We recommend heating the nozzle to your standard printing temperature for the material that caused the clog. This softens the residue, making it easier to clear with the pin.
Q: Are these pins reusable?
A: Absolutely. As long as they are not bent or damaged during use, you can clean and reuse them indefinitely. Just wipe them down with alcohol after use.
Q: Does this kit include a handle for better grip?
A: No, these are standalone pins designed for direct manual handling. However, their 100mm length provides sufficient leverage and distance from the hot end for safe handling.
Q: Can these pins be used on hardened steel nozzles?
A: Yes, these stainless steel pins are hard enough to clear debris from hardened steel nozzles without causing damage, provided you use gentle pressure.
Q: Will this work for 0.2mm micro-nozzles?
A: This set includes pins as small as 0.1mm, which are suitable for 0.2mm nozzles. Please exercise extreme caution due to the fragility of micro-nozzles.
