Solid performance
We bought several of these for our office printers. They perform consistently across different machines. Good build quality for a brass nozzle, though we wish it came with a silicone sock included.

Exact match for IR3 V1
Finally found a compatible hotend that doesn't require any modifications. The threading is precise, and the heat break aligns perfectly. My print head moves smoothly without any binding.

Good quality, easy install
Installation was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes. Print quality improved immediately after swapping out my old worn nozzle. Deducting one star only because the packaging was slightly damaged upon arrival, but the product itself was fine.

Perfect replacement for my IR3
This hotend fit perfectly into my IR3 V1 printer. The brass nozzle heats up quickly and maintains temperature stability well during long prints. Highly recommended for anyone needing a spare part.

Reliable and durable
I have been using this hotend for three weeks now with PLA and PETG filaments. No clogs so far, and the extrusion is very consistent. Great value for the price.

Works but runs hot
The nozzle works as expected, but I noticed the temperature reading seems to run about 5 degrees higher than my previous OEM part. I had to adjust my slicer settings slightly to compensate. Otherwise, it functions correctly.
Q: Does this come with a heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: Yes, this is a complete hotend assembly which includes the pre-installed heater cartridge and thermistor. You only need to connect the wires to your printer's mainboard.
Q: How long is the shipping time for this item?
A: Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the continental US. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
Q: Can I use abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber with this brass nozzle?
A: We do not recommend using abrasive filaments such as Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-dark PLA with this brass nozzle, as they will wear down the aperture quickly. For those materials, please consider a hardened steel nozzle upgrade.
Q: What is the maximum safe printing temperature for this nozzle?
A: The brass nozzle is rated for a maximum continuous operating temperature of 260°C. Exceeding this temperature may degrade the material or damage the thermal barrier.
Q: Is this compatible with the original IR3 model or only the V1?
A: This hotend is specifically designed for the IR3 V1 model. While it may physically fit the original IR3, we recommend checking your firmware and heating block specifications before installation to ensure optimal performance.
