Excellent for high-temp materials
I needed something robust for printing polycarbonate. This assembly handles the heat beautifully without clogging. The cooling fans are also noticeably quieter than my old setup.

Solid build quality
Very well constructed. The hardened steel nozzle shows no signs of wear after 2kg of glass-filled PETG. Instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners, but overall a great product.

Great performance, slightly pricey
The print head works flawlessly with my P1P. Temperatures stabilize quickly, and layer adhesion is excellent. I deducted one star only because the price is a bit steep compared to third-party options, but the reliability is worth it.

Q: Can I use this with 1.75mm TPU filament?
A: Absolutely. The hardened steel nozzle and optimized extruder gear handle flexible filaments like TPU very well, provided you use the recommended print settings in Bambu Studio.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this modular print head assembly is designed exclusively for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. It is not compatible with the A1 or A1 mini series due to different mounting mechanisms.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: The assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Brief peaks slightly higher are acceptable, but sustained temperatures above 300°C may reduce the lifespan of the components.
Q: Does this kit include a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes a new high-temperature silicone sock to protect the heater block and ensure consistent thermal performance.
Q: Do I need to perform flow calibration after installing?
