Essential for abrasive filaments
If you plan on printing with wood-fill or glow-in-the-dark PLA, you need these. My previous brass nozzle wore out in two prints. These nickel-plated hardened steel nozzles show zero degradation after a month of heavy use.

Great durability, slight learning curve
The hardened steel is definitely tough. I noticed I had to increase my printing temperature by about 5 degrees compared to my old brass nozzle, but once dialed in, the print quality is excellent. Good value for a 5-pack.

Consistent extrusion
Very happy with the consistency of the flow. The threading is precise, preventing any leaks at the hotend connection. The nickel plating also seems to help prevent filament from sticking to the outside of the nozzle during retraction.

Solid upgrade
Good product overall. They are slightly heavier than standard nozzles, but the Kobra X extruder handles them fine. Print adhesion and layer lines look crisp. Took off one star only because the packaging was a bit difficult to open without damaging the tips.

Best investment for long prints
I run long engineering prints that take days to complete. Knowing I have a high-temperature resistant nozzle that won't deform or clog easily gives me peace of mind. These work flawlessly with PETG and ABS.

Perfect fit for my Kobra X
These nozzles installed effortlessly on my Anycubic Kobra X. The dual-metal construction feels very robust, and I've already printed several spools of abrasive carbon fiber filament without any signs of wear. Highly recommended for upgrading from standard brass nozzles.
Q: Do I need to change my slicer settings when switching to hardened steel?
A: Yes, hardened steel conducts heat differently than brass. We recommend increasing your nozzle temperature by 5-10°C and potentially adjusting your retraction settings slightly for optimal results.
Q: What is the exact thread size? Is it M6 or V6?
A: The thread size is M6. This is the standard thread used for the Anycubic Kobra X series hotends, distinct from the E3D V6 style threads found on some other printers.
