Great addition to the toolkit
We bought several of these for our school makerspace. They have held up well under frequent use and make the printers safer for students to operate near.

Essential safety accessory
If you have kids or pets around your printer, this is a must-have. It prevents accidental burns if anyone touches the hotend area. Works great with the standard A1 setup.

Improves temperature stability
Not only does it protect against burns, but I noticed slightly better temperature consistency during prints in a drafty room. The insulation really helps maintain the heat.

Does exactly what it says
Simple product that does its job well. It slides on easily and stays in place even after multiple heating cycles. Good value for the price.

Perfect fit for my A1 mini
This silicone sleeve fits snugly on the heater block. It keeps the heat contained nicely and protects my fingers when I need to adjust things near the hotend. Highly recommended for safety.

Good quality, easy install
The material feels durable and high quality. Installation took less than a minute. I deducted one star only because the color is slightly darker than the photo, but functionally it is perfect.
Q: Do I need to remove the hotend to install this sleeve?
A: No, installation is tool-free. You can simply slide the sleeve onto the heater block while it is mounted on the printer, provided the hotend is cool.
Q: Will this fit the original Bambu Lab A1 as well as the mini version?
A: Yes, this silicone sleeve is designed to be compatible with both the Bambu Lab A1 and the A1 mini hotend assemblies.
Q: Does this interfere with the part cooling fan?
A: No, the sleeve is specifically shaped to cover only the heater block and does not obstruct airflow from the part cooling fan or the hotend fan.
Q: Is this an official Bambu Lab product?
A: This is a third-party accessory specifically designed to be compatible with Bambu Lab printers. It is not manufactured by Bambu Lab but meets high-quality standards for fit and function.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this silicone can withstand?
A: The high-grade silicone used in this sleeve is heat-resistant up to approximately 300°C (572°F), which covers all standard printing temperatures for PLA, PETG, and ABS.
