Great quality, slightly tight fit
The build quality of the hotend is superior to the stock version. I did have to apply a little extra force to seat the connector properly, but once installed, it works perfectly. Highly recommend for engineering materials.

Consistent extrusion every time
After running about 2kg of glass-filled nylon through this, there is zero wear on the nozzle. The flow rate is very consistent, which has improved my dimensional accuracy significantly. Worth every penny.

Solid performer for high-temp prints
Runs great at 280°C without any thermal runaway errors. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included thermal paste tube was almost empty, so I had to use my own. Otherwise, the hardware is top-notch.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle kit specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA, and it has been flawless. The installation on my Bambu Lab X1C took less than 15 minutes. Temperature stability is excellent even at higher speeds.

Easy install and immediate results
I was worried about compatibility issues, but the 'modified for Bambu' claim is accurate. It clicked right in. My first print with ASA came out smooth with no clogging issues. The cooling fans are also quieter than I expected.

Saved my printer from wear and tear
I kept destroying standard brass nozzles with silk PLA containing glitter. This hardened steel kit solved the problem instantly. Instructions were clear enough for a beginner like me to follow safely.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for continuous printing?
A: While the components can withstand up to 300°C, we recommend continuous printing at temperatures up to 280°C for optimal longevity of the heater cartridge and thermistor. Short bursts up to 300°C are acceptable.
Q: Will this work with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this specific kit is designed exclusively for the Bambu Lab P1 series and X1 series print heads. The A1 mini uses a different hotend architecture and mounting mechanism.
Q: Does this kit require any changes to the printer firmware or slicer settings?
A: No, this is a direct hardware replacement. You can use your existing profiles. However, when printing with abrasive materials, we recommend selecting the 'Hardened Steel Nozzle' option in your slicer if available to adjust flow compensation slightly.
Q: Does the package include a silicone sock for the heater block?
A: This kit does not include a silicone sock as the modified design focuses on airflow efficiency which sometimes conflicts with standard socks. However, standard Bambu Lab silicone socks are generally compatible if you wish to add one separately.
Q: Is the 0.4mm nozzle replaceable if it eventually wears out?
A: Yes, the nozzle is removable and replaceable. It uses a standard M6 thread compatible with most hardened steel nozzles designed for high-temperature hotends.
