Reliable performance
I use this for engineering prototypes daily. The heater cartridge reaches target temps quickly and maintains stability. The included thermistor is responsive. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Good quality, minor threading issue
Overall a solid kit. The brass nozzle is high quality and heats evenly. I had to be slightly careful threading the heat break into the block, but once tightened, it works flawlessly. Great value for the price.

Perfect replacement for my MK4

Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific kit includes a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle. We do sell 0.6mm nozzles separately if you need a different diameter for your projects.
Q: Is this compatible with the Prusa i3 MK3S+?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the Prusa i3 MK4. While some parts may physically fit the MK3S+, the geometry and sensor placements differ, so we recommend using parts designated for your specific model.
Q: What is the voltage rating for the heater cartridge?
A: The included heater cartridge is rated for 24V. Please ensure your printer's power supply matches this voltage before installation to avoid damage.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: The included nozzle is made of brass, which is not suitable for abrasive filaments. For Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-dark materials, we recommend purchasing a hardened steel nozzle separately and swapping it into this heating block.
