Solid performance upgrade
Works exactly as advertised on the K1 Max. The dual-metal construction feels very robust. Only giving 4 stars because the included wrench felt a bit flimsy, but the parts themselves are 5 stars.

Great quality but installation takes patience
The build quality of the nozzle and heat break is excellent. Installation on my K1C was straightforward, though aligning the thermistor took a few tries. Once installed, temperature stability is perfect.

Essential for abrasive materials
If you plan on printing anything other than standard PLA, get this kit. The integrated design reduces potential leak points. My Ender-3 V3 is now running smoothly with glass-filled nylon.

Perfect upgrade for carbon fiber printing
I switched to this hardened steel kit specifically for printing with carbon fiber filled PLA. The difference in durability compared to the stock brass nozzle is night and day. No clogging issues so far after 2kg of filament.
Q: Is this kit compatible with the original Ender-3 Pro?
A: No, this specific integrated kit is designed exclusively for the Ender-3 V3 series, K1C, and K1 Max. The hotend architecture differs from the original Ender-3 Pro.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. With regular use of abrasive filaments, expect a lifespan of 6 to 12 months depending on volume. Inspect periodically for wear if print quality degrades.
Q: Does the package include a new silicone sock?
A: This kit includes the nozzle and heat break assembly. It does not include a silicone sock; you should reuse your existing one if it is in good condition or purchase one separately if needed.
Q: What is the maximum recommended temperature for continuous printing?
A: While the components can withstand up to 300°C, we recommend continuous printing at temperatures below 280°C to ensure the longevity of the PTFE tube and surrounding components in the K1/Enderv3 series.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with standard PLA without changing settings?
A: Yes, you can print standard PLA without changing your temperature profiles. However, due to the different thermal conductivity of hardened steel, you might benefit from a slight temperature increase of 5-10°C for optimal flow.
