Easy installation
I was worried about installing a hotend myself, but the design makes it very straightforward. The included silicone sock fits perfectly. Back to printing in no time.

Great value, minor fan noise
The print quality is excellent, especially with carbon fiber filaments thanks to the hardened steel. The part cooling fan is slightly louder than the original, but not a dealbreaker.

Handles abrasive filaments well
I've been printing glass-filled nylon for weeks now, and the nozzle shows zero signs of wear. Temperature stability is spot on. Highly recommended for engineering materials.

Perfect drop-in replacement
Swapped this out for my worn-out stock hotend on my P1S in under 10 minutes. The fit is precise, and the quick disconnect works flawlessly. Printing ABS immediately without issues.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. Heat up time is fast, and layer adhesion is great. Deducting one star only because the packaging was a bit loose, but the product itself is fine.

Saved my printer
My original hotend got clogged beyond repair. This kit was a lifesaver. It feels sturdy and the price is much better than buying from the main manufacturer directly.

A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, and X1E models, as well as the P1 series.
Q: Do I need to perform an auto-flow calibration after installing?
A: While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend running the flow rate calibration and vibration calibration in the printer settings after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can sustain safely?
A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, which covers most high-temperature engineering filaments.
Q: Can I use this with PLA and PETG or is it only for abrasive filaments?
A: You can use this hotend with any standard filament including PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA. The hardened steel is durable enough for all types, though it is specifically beneficial for abrasive materials like carbon fiber.
Q: Does this come with a new heater cartridge?
A: Yes, the unit comes pre-assembled with a new 40W heater cartridge and thermistor already installed and tested.
