Fantastic upgrade for high-temp filaments

This hotend modification works flawlessly on my X1C. I can now print ABS and ASA without any clogging issues. The installation took about 20 minutes following the online guide.

Good quality but instructions could be clearer

The build quality is excellent and feels very sturdy. However, the included paper instructions were a bit vague. I had to watch a YouTube video to get the tension right on the heater block.

Works well but runs slightly hotter

The print quality is great, but I noticed the fan needs to run at higher speeds to keep the heat break cool compared to the original setup. Just something to keep in mind for your slicer profiles.

Perfect fit for P1S

Upgraded my P1S specifically for printing carbon fiber reinforced nylon. This hotend handles the abrasion much better than the stock unit. Highly recommended for advanced materials.

Great product for experienced users

If you are comfortable modifying your printer, this is a great buy. It definitely opens up more material options. Just don't attempt this if you have never touched the inside of a hotend before.

Solid engineering

BIQU did a great job with the tolerances here. Everything snapped into place perfectly on my X1C. No leaks, no oozing, just consistent extrusion even at 280 degrees.

Q: Can I use this with PLA filament?

A: Yes, absolutely. While this hotend is designed for high-temperature materials, it works perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and other standard filaments.

Q: Do I need to update the firmware on my X1C after installation?

A: No firmware update is required. The printer recognizes the heating element automatically. However, you may need to create a custom material profile in your slicer for high-temp filaments.

Q: Will this void my Bambu Lab warranty?

A: Modifying your printer with third-party parts generally voids the manufacturer's warranty on the modified components. Please check your specific warranty terms before installing.

Q: Does this kit include the Revo nozzle or just the hotend assembly?
