Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. The upgrade process was straightforward, taking less than 20 minutes. No clogs so far after 500 grams of print.

Good but requires calibration
The part itself is high quality. However, make sure to run the flow calibration and pressure advance tuning after installation to get the best results. Once tuned, it prints beautifully.

Solid upgrade but pricey
Quality is excellent and installation was easy thanks to the detachable design. It handles high-temperature materials like a champ. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep compared to third-party options, but you get what you pay for in reliability.

Great improvement over stock
The temperature stability on this 3.0 version is noticeably better than the original. My layers are more consistent, especially when printing at higher speeds with the X1C. Highly recommended.

No more nozzle wear
After ruining two brass nozzles with glass-filled PLA, I decided to invest in this hardened steel assembly. It's been three months of heavy use, and the nozzle still looks brand new. Worth every penny.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: The upgraded assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for materials like Polycarbonate (PC) and Nylon.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This assembly comes standard with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the hotend design allows you to swap in other hardened steel nozzles (0.6mm or 0.8mm) sold separately if needed.
Q: Can I print PLA with this hotend, or is it only for high-temp materials?
A: You can absolutely print PLA with this hotend. While it is optimized for high-temperature and abrasive filaments, it works perfectly fine with standard materials like PLA and PETG without any issues.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab P1S model?
A: Yes, the Extruder 3.0 Upgraded Hardened Steel Hotend is fully compatible with the P1S, as well as the X1C and P1P models.
Q: How difficult is the installation for someone who has never opened their printer before?
A: The assembly is designed to be detachable and user-replaceable. We provide a step-by-step guide in the manual and online videos. Generally, it takes about 15-20 minutes and requires only basic tools included in the package.
