Solid upgrade
Great nozzle kit. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that thermal conductivity is slightly lower than brass, so you might need to tweak temperature settings by 5-10 degrees for optimal flow.

No more clogs
I was experiencing frequent clogs with recycled PETG. Since switching to this hardened steel nozzle, my prints have been smooth and consistent. Worth every penny for peace of mind.

Essential for abrasive filaments
Switched to these stainless steel nozzles specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. The standard brass nozzle wore out too quickly, but these have held up perfectly after several spools. Highly recommended for the X1C.

Perfect replacement kit
Having both 0.2mm and 0.4mm options in one kit is convenient. The 0.2mm nozzle produces incredible detail for miniatures, while the 0.4mm is my daily driver. The included tools make maintenance easy.

Good quality, slightly tricky install
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. Installation was a bit tighter than expected, so make sure the hotend is fully heated before swapping. Once installed, print quality is flawless.
Q: Can I use these nozzles with PLA Basic filament?
A: Yes, you can use them with PLA Basic. However, for standard non-abrasive filaments like basic PLA, the standard brass nozzle is often preferred for better heat transfer unless you require the extra durability.
Q: What is the lifespan of the 0.2mm stainless steel nozzle?
A: The lifespan varies based on usage and filament type. With abrasive filaments, they last significantly longer than brass, often enduring multiple kilograms of material without significant wear.
Q: Are these nozzles compatible with the Bambu Lab P1P?
A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the X1 and X1C series due to differences in the hotend assembly. Please check the P1P specific accessories for your model.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after changing the nozzle?
A: It is highly recommended to run the flow rate calibration in the printer settings after installing a new nozzle, especially when changing sizes or materials, to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Q: Does the kit come with a wrench?
A: Yes, the kit includes a specialized nozzle removal tool designed to fit the X1C hotend geometry safely without damaging surrounding components.
