Saved my printer project

Solid performance at high temps
Running this at 285°C for ABS prints with no clogging issues. The brass block heats up quickly and maintains temperature well. Deducting one star because the silicone sock included feels slightly thinner than the original.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass ones. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, they can last 6 to 12 months or more, depending on print volume.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab X1E model?
A: Yes, this hotend assembly is fully compatible with the X1, X1-Carbon, X1E, and P1P models.
Q: Does this come with a new thermistor and heater cartridge?
A: Yes, the unit comes as a complete pre-assembled hotend, which includes the thermistor, heater cartridge, and heatbreak.
Q: Do I need to perform a full calibration after installing this?
A: After installation, the printer will automatically prompt you to run a flow dynamics calibration and vibration calibration to ensure optimal print quality with the new hotend.
Q: Can I use this nozzle for printing pure metal filaments?
A: While the nozzle is hardened steel, we do not recommend printing pure metal filaments as they may still cause excessive wear or clogging. It is best suited for composite filaments like carbon fiber or glass fiber filled plastics.
