Great quality, slight stringing
Overall excellent filament. The translucency is beautiful when lit from behind. I had to tweak retraction settings slightly to minimize stringing, but once dialed in, it prints beautifully.

Perfect for aesthetic prints
The frosted texture gives my models a unique, professional look without needing post-processing. The RFID tag worked instantly with my X1 Carbon, setting all parameters automatically.

Best PLA I've used
The upgrade in durability compared to standard PLA is noticeable. Prints are rigid yet have a nice flex. Highly recommend for both decorative and light functional use.
Q: Do I need to dry this filament before printing?
A: It is always good practice to dry hygroscopic materials like PLA if they have been exposed to humid air for a long time. However, this filament comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant and is ready to print upon opening.
Q: Does this filament work with non-Bambu Lab printers?
A: Yes, while the RFID feature is specific to Bambu Lab printers, the filament itself is standard 1.75mm PLA and works with any FDM printer that accepts PLA. You will just need to manually input the temperature settings.
Q: Is this material food safe?
A: While PLA is generally derived from cornstarch, 3D printed objects are not recommended for direct food contact due to potential bacteria growth in layer lines and unknown additives in the coloring process.
Q: Can I mix this with other PLA colors?
A: Yes, this filament is compatible with all standard PLA mix printing. You can create multi-color designs or use it in conjunction with other spools in an AMS system without issues.
