Good quality but requires tuning
The build quality feels solid. However, I had to slightly adjust my flow rate and temperature settings compared to the stock brass nozzle. Once dialed in, it handles high-temperature materials like ABS very well.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments

Great value upgrade
Easy to install even for a beginner like me following online guides. Prints look just as good as the original, but now I can try more exotic filaments without worry. Deducting one star because the silicone sock fit was a bit tight.

Works well but shipping was slow
The product itself functions as expected and fits the Bambu head perfectly. My only complaint is that shipping took longer than anticipated. The performance is great for tough materials though.

Durable and reliable
After burning through three brass nozzles with glass-filled nylon, this hardened steel kit is a lifesaver. It has lasted ten times longer already. Highly recommend for anyone moving beyond standard PLA.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: The hotend kit is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for most engineering-grade filaments including Polycarbonate blends.
Q: Do I need to perform a flow calibration after installing?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend running an automatic flow calibration via your printer's screen after installation to ensure dimensional accuracy with the new nozzle.
Q: Can I use this with regular PLA without changing settings?
A: Yes, you can print regular PLA. However, because hardened steel conducts heat slightly differently than brass, you may find optimal results by increasing the printing temperature by 5-10°C.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this kit is designed specifically for the Bambu Lab P1P, P1S, X1, and X1C series print heads. The A1 mini uses a different hotend assembly.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific kit includes a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. We do offer separate 0.6mm hardened nozzles that are compatible with the same hotend block if you need a larger diameter.
