Works but required tuning
The part itself seems genuine, but I had to re-level my bed and adjust flow rate significantly after swapping. Once tuned, it works fine, but beginners might find the calibration process tricky.

Fast shipping and great packaging
Arrived two days earlier than expected. Everything was well-packaged with no bent pins on the connector. The silicone sock fits perfectly and helps maintain consistent temps during cooling.

Good quality, clear instructions needed
The build quality is excellent and prints are coming out crisp. I deducted one star because the included manual was very brief. Had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I seated the thermistor correctly.

Perfect replacement for my Kobra 3
My original hotend got clogged beyond repair after printing with carbon fiber filament. This kit was a direct fit and the hardened steel nozzle handles abrasive materials beautifully. Installation took less than 15 minutes.

Essential upgrade for abrasive filaments
If you plan on printing anything other than standard PLA, get the hardened steel version immediately. It saves money in the long run by not wearing out every few spools. Temperature stability is spot on.

Reliable and durable
I run a small farm of Kobra printers and keep these kits as spares. They are reliable, the brass nozzles are great for detail work, and the price point is unbeatable compared to OEM replacements.
Q: What is the difference between the brass and hardened steel nozzles included?
A: Brass nozzles offer better thermal conductivity for standard filaments like PLA and PETG. Hardened steel nozzles are required for abrasive filaments like carbon fiber, wood-fill, or glow-in-the-dark to prevent wear.
Q: Can I use this hotend to print Nylon filament?
A: Yes, provided you use the hardened steel nozzle option included in the kit and ensure your printer enclosure can maintain the necessary ambient temperature for Nylon.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Anycubic Kobra non-V2 model?
A: No, this kit is specifically designed for the Kobra 3 V2. The mounting points and wiring harness differ from the original Kobra models.
Q: How do I know if I need to update my firmware after installing this?
A: Generally, no firmware update is required as this is a direct hardware replacement with identical electrical specifications. However, always check the official Anycubic forum for the latest advisories.
Q: Does the package include a new heating cartridge?
A: Yes, the hotend assembly comes pre-installed with a new 24V heating cartridge and a NTC 100K thermistor.
