Good quality but requires higher temps
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. Just note that you might need to increase your printing temperature by about 5-10 degrees compared to brass nozzles due to thermal conductivity differences.

Easy swap and great results
Replaced my stock hotend in under 15 minutes. The calibration went smoothly, and I haven't experienced any clogging issues since switching to this assembly. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Great customer support too
I had questions about compatibility with my specific firmware version, and the seller responded quickly. The nozzle itself is top-notch and has improved the longevity of my hotend significantly.

Essential for serious hobbyists
If you plan on doing a lot of printing with composite materials, this is a must-have. It has saved me from replacing standard nozzles every few prints. Highly recommended for the A1 series.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle to print carbon fiber PLA, and it works flawlessly. The installation on my A1 Mini was straightforward, and the print quality remained sharp even after several spools.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The hardened steel holds up well against glass-filled nylon. My only minor complaint is that the included thermal paste tube was a bit small, but overall a great product.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with PLA basic filament?
A: Yes, you can use it with PLA, PETG, ABS, and other standard filaments. However, for non-abrasive materials, a brass nozzle may offer slightly better heat transfer efficiency.
Q: What is the expected lifespan compared to a brass nozzle?
A: With abrasive filaments like carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark PLA, a hardened steel nozzle can last 5 to 10 times longer than a standard brass nozzle.
Q: Does this come with a heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: Yes, this is a complete hotend assembly which includes the heater cartridge, thermistor, heatsink, and the hardened steel nozzle pre-installed.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the A1 and A1 Mini series. The X1 Carbon uses a different hotend form factor.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installation?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend performing a flow rate calibration and a vibration calibration (if applicable) after installing a new hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
