Standard US fitment confirmed
Fits my Epiphone SG perfectly right out of the box. The knurling grips the knob securely so it doesn't slip during aggressive playing. The build quality feels much more robust than the imported alternatives I've used in the past.

Silent and precise
No more crackling when turning the volume knob! The audio taper feels very musical and allows for subtle swells. Installation was straightforward for anyone with basic soldering skills. Will definitely buy again for my next project.

Smooth action and great tone
Installed a 500K version on my bass guitar. The difference in clarity and response is noticeable immediately. The shaft length is standard US spec, so it lined up perfectly with my pickguard. Highly recommend for anyone doing a DIY wiring job.

Solid upgrade component
Good potentiometer for the price. The rotation is smooth throughout the entire range. I deducted one star only because the included nut was slightly difficult to thread initially, but once seated, everything is tight and secure.

Perfect drop-in replacement for my Epiphone
These CTS pots are exactly what I needed to upgrade the electronics in my Les Paul Studio. The knurled shaft fit perfectly without needing to ream the hole, and the soldering tabs are high quality. The taper is smooth and eliminates the scratchy noise I had with the stock components.

Great quality, check your shaft length
The pot itself is fantastic American-made quality. Just make sure you measure your existing shaft length before ordering. I got the 3/8 inch which worked for my guitar, but if you have a thick carved top, you might need the longer variant. Otherwise, flawless performance.
Q: Are these linear or audio taper?
A: These are Audio Taper (Logarithmic), which is the standard for volume controls in electric guitars and basses. This taper provides a more natural perceived volume change as you turn the knob compared to linear taper.
Q: Is the shaft long enough for a thick archtop guitar?
A: This specific listing is for the 3/8" (9.5mm) shaft length, which is standard for most solid body guitars like Les Pauls and SGs. If you have a thick carved archtop or a guitar with a very thick finish, you may need our "Long Shaft" variant which measures 1/2" or more.
