Works well for active pickups
I installed this on a bass with active EMG pickups. The 3-terminal design is essential for the battery life, and it functions perfectly. One star off because the included nuts were slightly difficult to thread initially.

Solid construction

Good quality, tight fit
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. It was a bit tight going into the body of my bass, but once installed, it is very secure. The battery disconnect feature works as expected.

Solved my intermittent signal issue
My old jack was causing the sound to cut out whenever I moved the cable. This new 3-terminal jack solved the problem immediately. Installation took about 15 minutes including desoldering the old one.

Perfect replacement for my Strat
This jack fit perfectly into the existing hole on my guitar. The soldering lugs are large enough to work with easily, and the switch action feels solid. No more crackling noises when I plug in my cable.
