Good but requires careful placement
The sound is good once you get the positioning right. It took me a few tries to find the sweet spot under the saddle where the volume is even across all strings. Instructions could be more detailed.

Perfect for my folk guitar

Solid performance

Great value for the price
For the cost, this is an excellent upgrade. It took me about 15 minutes to set up. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the cable could be a bit more durable, but the sound quality is fantastic.

Clear and balanced tone
I use this for live performances and it handles high volumes well without feedback. The piezo bar picks up the nuances of my playing style perfectly. Highly recommended for buskers.
Q: Is the cable detachable from the pickup bar?
A: No, the cable is permanently connected to the piezo bar to ensure a secure signal path and prevent connection failures during performance. The other end has a standard plug for your amp.
Q: Do I need to drill a hole in my guitar to install the jack?
A: No drilling is required. The package includes a strong adhesive mount for the output jack that can be attached to the lower bout or tailblock of your guitar externally.
Q: Can I use this with an external preamp pedal?
A: Absolutely. Since this is a passive pickup, it pairs very well with external preamp pedals or DI boxes to shape your tone and boost the signal before hitting the amplifier.
Q: Does this fit on a classical guitar with a wide saddle?
A: Yes, the strip is 70mm long which fits most standard classical and steel-string acoustic saddles. If your saddle is wider than 70mm, you may need to trim it slightly or center it for best results.
Q: What if the pickup is too thick for my saddle slot?
A: The piezo bar is designed to be ultra-thin (0.8mm). If your slot is extremely tight, you might need to sand the bottom of the saddle slightly, but this is rarely necessary for standard guitars.
