Easy to tune for beginners
As someone new to drumming, I found these very easy to tune. They hold their pitch well even after playing hard. The colored coating makes my cheap kit look much more expensive.

Great value for a full kit upgrade
I replaced all the heads on my old kit with these PDH colored oil heads. The tone is surprisingly warm and the overtones are very controlled right out of the box. The colored film looks fantastic under stage lights.

Solid durability, nice look
These heads have held up well through three weeks of heavy practice. The double-layer construction feels robust. I deducted one star only because the bass drum head took a little extra time to seat properly.

Good studio presence
Recorded a session with these heads and they sounded great in the mix. The attack is clear but not too harsh. They are not quite as premium as top-tier brands, but for the price, they are excellent.

Perfect for live performances
The oil film really helps cut down on unwanted ring without needing excessive muffling. The color adds a professional touch to our stage setup. Highly recommend for gigging drummers on a budget.

A bit too muted for jazz
While the build quality is good, the oil film makes them a bit too dry for the open sound I prefer for jazz. They would be perfect for rock or pop though. Just depends on your genre.
Q: Are these heads suitable for heavy metal playing?
A: Absolutely. The double-layer oil film construction provides high durability and controlled sustain, which is ideal for heavy hitting styles like metal.
Q: Will the color fade over time with regular use?
A: The colored oil film is baked into the material and is designed to be long-lasting. Normal wear from sticks will not cause the color to fade, though extreme abrasion could eventually affect the surface.
Q: Does this set include a bass drum head?
A: Yes, this complete set includes heads for toms, snare, and a standard sized bass drum.
Q: What sizes are included in the tom packs?
A: The set typically covers standard fusion and rock configurations (10, 12, 14 inch), but please check the specific size selection dropdown before ordering to match your shell sizes.
Q: Do I need special hoops to install these?
A: No, these heads are designed to fit standard triple-flanged or die-cast hoops found on most modern drum kits. No special hardware is required.
