Excellent craftsmanship
HOSCO never disappoints. The detailing on the top hat ridge is crisp, and the plating looks durable. It instantly upgraded the look of my import guitar.

Looks authentic
I was worried it might look too shiny or fake, but the gold tone is very tasteful and reminiscent of old Gibson hardware. Very happy with this purchase.

Good value
Solid construction and fast shipping. Took off one star only because I wished they sold these in a 4-pack for a better price, but individually they are still reasonably priced.

Exactly as described
No complaints here. Fits my Japanese-made guitar perfectly right out of the box. The grip is comfortable for volume swells too.

Perfect fit for my Les Paul
These knobs are exactly what I needed to restore my vintage-style guitar. The gold finish matches the hardware perfectly, and the metric shaft fit snugly without any wobble. Made in Japan quality is evident.

Great quality, check your shaft size
Beautiful knob with a nice weight to it. Just make sure your potentiometers have metric shafts before ordering, as these will not fit imperial US-spec pots without an adapter.
Q: Is the gold finish real gold or just paint?
A: The finish is a high-quality gold plating over a zinc alloy base, not paint. This ensures durability and a metallic sheen that resembles vintage hardware.
Q: Does this come with a set screw?
A: No, this is a push-on style knob that relies on friction to stay in place on the pot shaft. It does not utilize a set screw.
Q: Will this fit a standard American Gibson Les Paul?
A: This specific model (H-KG-160) is designed for metric shafts (6mm), which are common on Japanese and Asian-made guitars. Standard American Gibsons typically use imperial shafts (1/4 inch). You would need an adapter or the imperial version of this knob for a US Gibson.
Q: What is the return policy if the size is wrong?
A: We accept returns within 30 days of delivery as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging. Please initiate a return request through your order history.
Q: Can I use these on a bass guitar?
A: Yes, provided your bass guitar uses standard metric potentiometer shafts. The knob style is universal for any instrument with compatible shaft dimensions.
