Great sound, minor fitment issue
The sound quality is fantastic, very warm and dynamic. I had to do a little sanding on the pickup ring to get a perfect fit, but once installed, they sing. The modern set has great output.

Solid performer
Very happy with the purchase. The wax potting really helps eliminate feedback at stage volumes. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected, but the product itself is top-tier.

Best upgrade I've made
Replaced my stock humbuckers with the Lao Hao modern replicas. The clarity is amazing, even with high gain. No microphonics or unwanted noise. These rival pickups costing three times as much.

Incredible tone for the price
I installed these in my Telecaster and the difference is night and day. They have that crisp, bell-like chime associated with high-end vintage pickups without breaking the bank. Highly recommended for gigging musicians.
