Perfect for big band
Needed something with more bite for my big band gigs. This JODY Jazz mouthpiece provides the necessary edge without losing the classic saxophone character. The ligature is also top-notch.

Solid metal mouthpiece
Very well made in the USA. The finish is sleek and durable. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit bright if you push too hard, but with control, it sounds amazing.

Great sound, takes some getting used to
The sound quality is fantastic, very rich in the lower register. It took me a few days to adjust my embouchure to the metal feel, but now I love it. The included ligature holds the reed securely.

Switched from a hard rubber mouthpiece to this metal JODY Jazz model and the difference is night and day. The tone is incredibly warm yet cuts through the band perfectly. Highly recommended for jazz players.
