Sturdy and stylish

Great quality, slightly tight fit
The build quality is excellent and looks very professional on my distortion pedal. It was a bit tight to screw on initially, but once seated, it is very secure. Good value for the price.

Good upgrade
Solid little component. It definitely protects the internal switch better than the stock rubber caps. Only giving 4 stars because the wrench is quite small and easy to lose.

Perfect replacement for my old pedal

Saved my vintage pedal
Couldn't find a replacement part for my older effects unit until I found this. The universal sizing worked out great. The screws provided were the correct length too.

A: Yes, this cap is designed for standard 16mm footswitches, which are commonly used in Boss pedals including the DS-1.
Q: Is the aluminum coated or raw?
A: The aluminum features a brushed matte finish that helps resist fingerprints and minor scratches, but it is not painted or anodized in bright colors.
Q: Can I install this without the provided wrench?
A: While possible with needle-nose pliers, we strongly recommend using the included wrench to avoid stripping the screw heads or damaging the cap's interior threading.
