Perfect replacement for old brittle caps
My vintage folk guitar had tuning peg caps that were cracking. These fit perfectly over the existing posts and look great. Very easy to install without any tools.

Good value, slight color mismatch
These work well and grip nicely when tuning. The cream color is slightly lighter than my original 1980s tuners, but it's not very noticeable unless you look closely.

Great for custom projects

Decent but loose on some posts
They fit four of my six tuners perfectly, but two of them feel a bit loose. I had to add a tiny bit of adhesive to keep them secure. Otherwise, they look fine.

Smooth turning action
I was worried these might slip, but they stay on tight and make winding the strings much smoother. Great upgrade for budget guitars.
Q: Are these compatible with locking tuners?
A: Generally, no. Locking tuners often have different shaft mechanisms or integrated buttons that do not accept standard push-on caps. These are best for traditional open-gear tuners.
Q: Will these fit electric guitar tuners as well?
A: These are designed specifically for standard folk and acoustic guitar tuner posts. While some electric guitars use similar posts, the shaft diameter can vary, so we recommend measuring your post before purchasing.
Q: What is the inner diameter of the hole?
A: The inner diameter is approximately 5mm, which is the industry standard for most acoustic and folk guitar tuning posts.
Q: Can I buy just one cap if I only lost one?
A: We currently sell these only as a full set of 6 to ensure color consistency across all your tuning pegs. However, the extra caps make great spares for future repairs.
Q: Do I need glue to install these?
A: No glue is required. These caps are designed with a friction fit. Simply push them firmly onto the clean tuner post until they seat securely.
