No more loose connections

Solid component
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The nickel plating seems durable. Only giving 4 stars because the included nuts were a little difficult to thread.
Q: Does this come with a ground wire?
A: The unit includes the jack socket and mounting hardware. Grounding is achieved by soldering your guitar's existing ground wire to the designated terminal on the jack.
Q: Do I need to enlarge the hole in my guitar to install this?
A: In most cases, no. This is a direct replacement for standard recessed output jacks found on many electric guitars. However, please measure your existing hole to be sure.
Q: Is soldering required for installation?
A: Yes, you will need to solder the wires from your guitar's electronics to the terminals on this jack socket.
Q: Can this be used on an acoustic-electric guitar?
A: Yes, as long as your acoustic-electric guitar uses a standard recessed 1/4 inch output jack, this part will be compatible.
Q: Will this fit a standard 1/4 inch guitar cable?
