Perfect first metal guitar
This guitar is incredible for the price. The active pickups sound huge and the Floyd Rose stays in tune surprisingly well after a quick setup. Great choice for beginners wanting to play heavy music.

Looks and sounds awesome
The satin black finish feels great and doesn't show fingerprints. The tremolo system is smooth and allows for deep dives without going out of tune. My son loves learning on this.

Exceeded expectations
I bought this as a backup guitar but ended up using it as my main. The sustain is excellent and the set-neck design provides great resonance. Best guitar under $500 hands down.

Active pickups are a game changer
Coming from passive pickups, the clarity and output of these Schecter Diamond Plus actives are amazing. No noise, just pure high-gain tone. Highly recommended for rock and metal genres.

Great value, needs minor setup
The build quality from the Indonesia factory is solid. The neck is fast and comfortable. I had to adjust the action slightly out of the box, but once set up, it plays like a much more expensive instrument.

Solid beginner axe
Very impressed with the fret work; no sharp edges at all. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the battery compartment could be easier to access, but that's a minor complaint.

A: The Schecter Diamond Plus active pickups require a standard 9V battery. Battery life is generally long, but we recommend unplugging the cable when not playing to conserve power.
Q: How do I maintain the Floyd Rose tremolo system?

A: Yes, the nut width is a standard 1.65 inches (42mm), which is comfortable for most hand sizes. The thin 'C' shape neck profile also makes it very accessible for beginners and players with smaller hands.
