Professional grade component
As a luthier, I install these regularly for clients. The contact tension is perfect—not too loose, not too tight. The TRS configuration allows for balanced outputs if needed.

Great jack, tight fit
Excellent sound quality and very durable. Just be aware that the mounting hole needs to be exactly 9mm; it was a slightly tight fit in my older instrument but manageable with care.

Easy installation
I'm not an expert at guitar repair, but swapping this in took me less than 15 minutes. The instructions were clear, and the included nut and washer were high quality too.

Perfect upgrade for my Stratocaster
The original jack on my guitar was crackling constantly. This audiophile grade replacement solved the issue immediately. The gold plating ensures a solid connection, and the stereo capability is great for future active pickup upgrades.

Solid build quality
Very heavy duty construction. The threading is precise and it fit perfectly into my Les Paul copy without any modification. The signal transfer is clean with no noise floor introduced.

No more intermittent signal
I use this for my bass guitar which gets played hard every weekend. After three months, there is still no loosening or signal loss. Highly recommended for gigging musicians.
Q: Is the gold plating durable enough for frequent plugging/unplugging?
A: Yes, the gold plating is applied over a hardened brass base specifically to resist wear from repeated insertion cycles while maintaining low resistance.
Q: Can I use this for active pickups requiring a battery clip?
A: Yes, since this is a Tip-Ring-Sleeve jack, you can wire the ring contact to disconnect the battery when the cable is unplugged, preserving battery life for active systems.
Q: Is this jack compatible with mono cables?
A: Yes, absolutely. Although this is a TRS (Stereo) jack, it is fully backward compatible with standard TS (Mono) instrument cables used by most electric guitars and basses.
Q: Does this come with soldering tabs or is it push-in?
A: This model features robust soldering tabs for a permanent and reliable electrical connection. It does not use push-in terminals.
Q: What is the diameter of the mounting thread?
A: The mounting thread is standard M9 x 0.75mm, which fits the vast majority of electric guitars and basses manufactured globally.
