Great jack, tight fit
Excellent sound quality and very durable. Just be aware that the mounting hole needs to be exactly 9mm; it was a slightly tight fit in my older instrument but manageable with care.

A: Yes, since this is a Tip-Ring-Sleeve jack, you can wire the ring contact to disconnect the battery when the cable is unplugged, preserving battery life for active systems.
Q: Is this jack compatible with mono cables?
A: Yes, absolutely. Although this is a TRS (Stereo) jack, it is fully backward compatible with standard TS (Mono) instrument cables used by most electric guitars and basses.
