Great starter kit, ligature is okay
The mouthpieces themselves are surprisingly good for the price. They produce a warm tone. The included ligature works fine, though I might upgrade it later as I progress. Highly recommend for students.

Excellent build quality
I bought this as a backup set for my teaching studio. The craftsmanship on the ebonite is smooth with no rough edges. The 5C is a very balanced piece right out of the box.

Good tone, easy to blow
Very responsive mouthpieces. Even the larger 7C wasn't too stuffy for a beginner. It helped me learn how to control my air support better. Shipping was fast too.

Perfect for my son's first sax
This set is incredible value. My son is just starting out, and having the option to try different tip sizes helped his teacher find the perfect fit for him. The ebonite feels solid and not cheap at all.

Saved me so much money
Instead of buying one expensive mouthpiece that might not fit my embouchure, I got four options. The 6C turned out to be my sweet spot. The case keeps everything organized nicely.
Q: Does the kit come with reeds?
A: This kit includes the mouthpieces, ligature, cap, and a storage case, but it does not include reeds. You will need to purchase alto sax reeds separately.
Q: Is the ligature adjustable?
A: Yes, the included metal ligature features a screw mechanism that allows you to adjust the pressure on the reed for optimal vibration and response.
Q: Can I return individual pieces if I only like one?
A: Our return policy requires the entire set to be returned in its original condition if you are unsatisfied. We cannot process returns for individual mouthpieces from the kit.
Q: Are these mouthpieces suitable for a tenor saxophone?
A: No, this specific set is designed exclusively for Alto Saxophones. The shank size and chamber dimensions are different for tenor sax mouthpieces.
Q: What is the difference between the 4C and 7C in this set?
A: The number indicates the tip opening size. A 4C has a smaller opening, offering more resistance and easier control for absolute beginners. A 7C has a larger opening, allowing for more volume and a darker tone but requiring stronger air support.
