Solid mid-range option
While not quite professional alcohol marker quality, these water-based pens are excellent for the price point. Great for journaling and casual sketching.

Perfect for my daughter's art projects

Best markers for beginners
As a student just getting into illustration, these are perfect. They are forgiving when blending and the brush tip is flexible enough for calligraphy practice too.

Good quality, minor cap issue
The markers themselves are fantastic with rich colors. One cap was slightly loose upon arrival, but it hasn't dried out yet. Overall, a solid purchase for the price.

Grandkids love them
Bought these for my grandchildren's birthday. They were immediately put to use creating comic books. No strong chemical smell, which I appreciate.
Q: Is the 280 color set suitable for a single elementary student?
A: The 280 set is quite extensive and is often better suited for classrooms, shared family use, or serious young artists. For a single elementary student, our 48 or 72 sets are usually sufficient.
Q: Will these work on dark construction paper?
A: Since these are water-based and not opaque paint pens, they may not show up vibrantly on dark-colored paper. They perform best on white or light-colored surfaces.
Q: Can I refill these markers when they run dry?
A: No, the Touchcolor Dual-Tip Markers are designed as disposable units and cannot be refilled. However, keeping the caps tightly sealed when not in use will extend their lifespan significantly.
Q: Are these markers washable from clothing?
A: While they are water-based and non-toxic, we recommend using them on appropriate surfaces only. If they get on clothes, washing immediately with soap and warm water may help, but stains can occur.
Q: Do the colors look the same on the cap as they do on paper?
A: Yes, the caps are color-coded to match the ink inside very closely. However, slight variations may occur depending on the type of paper you are using.
