Great for campfires too
I bought this primarily for charcoal but found it works wonders for getting campfires going when the wood is slightly damp. It's lightweight and fits easily in my gear bag. Only wish the cord was a bit longer.

Surprisingly powerful
Don't let the small size fool you. The airflow is intense and focused. The variable speed trigger gives you good control so you don't blow ash everywhere. Highly recommended for anyone who hates waiting for coals to ready.

Good but battery drains fast on max
The device works well and is very convenient. However, if you run it on the highest setting continuously, the battery depletes faster than advertised. On medium settings, it performs as expected.

Solid build quality
Feels durable in the hand and the heat resistance seems legitimate. I've used it near hot coals multiple times without any warping. The LED indicator is a nice touch to know when to recharge.
